Several new courses have been added to the Bloodborne Pathogens Training product line to complement the products already made available as part of the April 2011 release of the CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers program.

The all new web-based Bloodborne Pathogens Training includes video, quizzes and other interactive activities and replaces the r.06 Bloodborne Pathogens Training web-based course. Visit the Bloodborne Pathogens preview kit to watch a demo about the new online course.

In addition, the Bloodborne Pathogens Training Instructor Self-study Bridge can now be completed online through the Red Cross Learning Center. This will help eligible Red Cross instructors easily bridge to become instructors for the Bloodborne Pathogens Training classroom course. Also included in this release is the new Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor course in a blended-learning format available to instructor trainers eligible to teach the stand-alone Bloodborne Pathogens Training Instructor Course.
