PHSS is pleased to announce that the First Aid/CPR/AED, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers and Lifeguarding programs are now available in a blended learning format. Blended Learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions conducted by a Red Cross-certified instructor. The new blended learning courses build the same knowledge and skills as our traditional classroom training courses and provide our customers with another option for learning these important lifesaving skills.

Instructors are encouraged to complete the instructor orientations, which provide an overview of the new blended learning delivery method. The orientations will be available on Instructor’s Corner on an ongoing basis so instructors can access them when they are ready to start teaching blended learning courses. Instructors also have access to a virtual demo of the blended learning web-based content, which provides the opportunity to learn and explore the online content.
