New Enhancements to Course Record Entry Portal and Digital Certificates Launch

Course Record Entry Portal and Digital Certificates Improvements

  • Faster misspelled name corrections. The TSC can quickly correct misspelled names on course records.

  • More students will now receive digital certificate directly. Students have expressed interest in having immediate access to their digital certificates. To ensure that students receive a link to their digital certificate directly, instructor email addresses will no longer be accepted for the student. Instructors are encouraged to enter the student’s email address only. If this field is left blank, the instructor will receive a link to the students’ digital certificates for that class but the student will not.

  • Anytime, unlimited access to print the course record summary. Instructors can now access and print the course record summary page at any time. The summary page now includes student mastery information (e.g., successful, unsuccessful).

  • Expanded print options. In addition to printing certificates via webpage, a pdf option is now available. The pdf provides preset margins to accommodate printing wallet sized cards on business card stock for most printers.

  • Easier confirmation of payment. The payment page must be completed now in order to receive digital certificates. Customers will now be required to select purchase order, credit card or “Call my billing contact” before receiving their digital certificates.

  • Locating the correct course is easier. The course code has been added to the course name (e.g., HSSSFA101 — First Aid) to help instructors identify the course they are looking for in the system. This enhancement does not provide the ability to search on course code.

  • More data fields now available. Need to enter an employee ID? Now you can with a free form “Additional Information” field. Instructors and companies can use this field to add an employee ID or other comments.
