The following Sports Safety Training Courses will be discontinued effective December, 31, 2012:

• HSSSST107: Sports Injury Prevention and First Aid with Adult and Child CPR/AED

• HSSSST107C: Sports Injury Prevention and First aid with Adult and Child CPR/AED Challenge

• HSSSST107R: Sports Injury Prevention and First Aid with Adult and Child CPR/AED Review

Current scheduled offerings for these courses will be supported in the American Red Cross Learning Center, but no new offerings may be scheduled after December 31, 2012.

Sports Safety Training Instructor and Participant Materials will not be available for sale after December 31, 2012.

A new online only course, First Aid, Health and Safety for Coaches, jointly developed by the American Red Cross and the National Federation of State High School Associations will replace the Sports Safety Training courses. This new course will be available later this month.
